Seattle — Communications
I help technology companies and the people who run them say the right thing, at the right moment, to the press, the market and their own teams.
I was Director of Global Public Relations at Rakuten Viber, where I was the CEO's day-to-day partner on messaging through a war, a coup and a few product launches, and ran joint announcements with OpenAI, Snapchat and Spotify. Before that I built the marketing and communications function at an enterprise software company and led communications for a deep-tech venture fund.
Today I run Axxilion, a strategic communications practice working with founders and executives in the U.S. and Europe: among them Finom, whose €115M round we took to 600 publications, and infrastructure companies launching alongside AMD and Western Digital.
I believe founders and executives should speak for their companies themselves, directly, and that the communications team's job is to make them credible when they do. I laid out that case in a framework for decentralized PR in Entrepreneur in January 2022, and it is how I have worked since.
I write a column for Entrepreneur, mentor at Techstars, and post on X. Once I wrote, produced and directed a documentary; more recently I climbed Mount Rainier.
In their words
Ofir Eyal, CEO, Rakuten ViberLiliana is a PR professional. She knows media inside out. During her period at Rakuten Viber, Liliana played a key role in our global PR strategy and helped navigate through calm seas and a few storms.
Kos Stiskin, Co-founder and Board Member, FinomWhat impressed us most was the results-driven approach and dedication to finding innovative solutions. Rather than simply scaling through volume, they focus on high-impact, strategic initiatives. I would recommend Liliana and Axxilion to companies seeking a strategic communications partner.
Alexander Ragel, CEO, DIAWAY"Ridiculously efficient" is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Liliana. She has completed several flawless projects for us since 2020. Many founders have owner's blinders on, and a fresh perspective is often lacking. This is where we benefited, and are still benefiting, a great deal from working with her. Any company would be lucky to have Liliana as a partner in everything related to B2B communications.
